Mantis Burn Racing becomes its first published title

Established UK based developer VooFoo Studios is delighted to announce a move into publishing, with its first title, Mantis Burn Racing, available via Steam Early Access this week, with a console release scheduled for later in 2016.

VooFoo has developed some of the world’s most loved titles for multiple platforms, including the ‘Pure’ games franchise, and with its first self-developed and published title, begins a new chapter in the history of the Birmingham based company.

“Having developed multi-million selling products for handheld, PC and console, we have outstanding pedigree as a studio,” said Mark Williams, Technology Director at VooFoo Studios.” He continued, “With incredible talent already in place at the studio, we’re more than ready to become masters of our own destiny, creating innovative and memorable experiences, steering VooFoo into a bright and exciting future.”

Prior to the announcement of Mantis Burn Racing, VooFoo Studios has made publishing specific hires, including the appointment of Sean Walsh as Marketing and PR Manager, with extensive videogames product and publishing experience, having previously worked with Bandai Namco, Disney Interactive Studios, Wired Productions and Empire Interactive.

Shaun Read, Creative Director commented, “We’ve never been more excited by the future, and with our expansion into publishing, we’re able to take our vision from concept to release. Renowned for our creative and technical expertise, VooFoo is a studio that delivers incredible gaming experiences, and the ability to guide projects from start to finish as the developer and publisher allows us to create the games that we want to make, and gamers want to play.”
