Scotland’s Biggest Gaming Show to Deliver Unmissable Entertainment Including Retro, VR, Tournaments and So Much More!

Replay Events, one of the UK’s premier gaming and event entertainment companies announced today PLAY Expo Glasgow, a two-day spectacular taking place at the Braehead Arena, Glasgow on June 16th and 17th.

PLAY Expo is known across the UK as an event for lovers of gaming culture, encompassing dedicated zones for all the family. The atmosphere will be as electric as the thousands of consoles and computers of yesteryear, and the excitement palpable as Scottish gamers try the latest games for the first time.

The Indie Zone at Play Expo Glasgow will be curated by Scottish indie specialists, WeThrowSwitches, and will feature some of the brightest lights amongst the Scottish development scene. In addition, PLAY Expo Glasgow is actively supporting the Scottish game development scene, openly inviting aspiring indie publishers to get in touch should they wish to display their game free of charge at the show.

For those who favour the spectacle of live gaming, tournament specialists Versus Scotland will deliver an array of tournaments with exceptional prizes, hot on the heels of the huge success of HypeSpotting 6. Featuring VR, Retro Gaming, Arcade & Pinball, TableTop, Minecraft, Next-Gen Gaming and Retail Zones, PLAY Expo Glasgow looks set to be the show with something for everyone this June.

Andy Brown, Director for Replay Events commented: “As we deliver the best in gaming culture to as much of the UK as possible, we’re delighted to return to Glasgow after an incredible event last year.
