Here Are the New Xbox One Backward Compatibility Titles Playable Today

Last month Microsoft launched Xbox One Backward Compatibility with an initial set of more than 100 titles, allowing fans to take their Xbox 360 experience to Xbox One and still be able to play with their friends, take screenshots, stream and record in-game DVR clips.

Since launch on 12th November, fans have logged more than nine million hours globally playing Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, with the top ten most popular titles in the UK being:


1.    Fallout 3     6.  DiRT 3
2.    Just Cause 2     7.  Borderlands
3.    Gears of War 3     8.  Gears of War 2
4.    Assassin’s Creed II     9.  Battleblock Theatre
5.    Fable II    10. Gears of War: Judgment


Today we’re excited to announce 16 additional Xbox 360 titles available now on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility, including Halo: Reach, Halo Wars, DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION and Fable III. And as a reminder, all future Xbox 360 games available through Games with Gold are playable on Xbox One. You can find the full list of our latest additions below and also on
