Barnstorm Launches Pro Pinball Ultra on Steam Early Access

The world’s most popular realistic pinball simulation has been completely rebuilt on Windows and Mac platforms for Steam Early Access.

Featuring the first of the ULTRA editions – Pro Pinball: Timeshock!

Barnstorm Games today announced that Pro Pinball Ultra, based on the classic Pro Pinball series of hits from the nineties, is now available on Steam Early Access. A successful Kickstarter campaign confirmed the overwhelming support to bring the series back, and the first table: Timeshock! can now be downloaded from Steam Early Access on Windows and Mac platforms. The original development team used the plans of the original and completely recreated the experience for today’s PC and Mac owners, with the addition of some exciting new features. The table includes support for 4K displays, access to the Operator’s Menu to customize the table, and Glass-Off-Mode which allows consumers to remove the virtual glass and move the ball around. Pro Pinball Ultra is available to purchase from Steam Early Access for $14.99/£9.99/€14.99.

“It will be fantastic to have Timeshock! back on consumers’ home computers and laptops,” stated Adrian Barritt, Head of Development at Barnstorm Games. “The original Pro Pinball series was really born on PC, it was such a huge hit that since its launch we have been asked when the titles will return to the platform. The Kickstarter campaign illustrated the demand and made this a reality, now the Steam Early Access platform gives us the opportunity to make the title available to consumers whilst we work on new features, more table angles and listen to players feedback,” said Barritt.
